Information Management (IM)

Senior Information Management SME (#2017-IM01)

Job Description: Perform as a senior subject matter expert (SME) in information management (IM) and IM governance supporting a variety of IM functions such as records management (RM), content management (CM), document management (DM), Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Privacy Act (PA), declassification review (DR), disclosure and release, and essential records. Activities would include coordination with key IM leaders and decision-makers across the enterprise, advising and helping to establish and maintain an Information Management Board (IMB) that would provide IM governance regarding important information challenges facing the enterprise. Activities would include the creation and implementation of IM training and awareness for all personnel and leadership.

Skills Required: Must have significant prior experience in information management or multiple IM functions, understanding of IM issues, and a proven ability to work with senior managers and supervisors to develop champions and provide IM guidance to the organization. Must have proven expertise in all MS Office products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Visio. Must be familiar with government standards that pertain to IM.

Location: Springfield, Virginia (periodic local travel and occasional remote travel may be required).

Education: A college degree (BS/BA) with 20+ years total work experience and at least 7+ years relevant experience is required.

Clearance: Applicants are subject to a government security investigation and must meet all eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Candidate must possess an active TS/SCI clearance (with a CI polygraph) and possess a current SSBI of less than five years.

Senior Records Management SME (#2017-IM02)

Job Description: Perform as a senior subject matter expert (SME) in records management (RM) supporting RM activities related to the advancement of records management business processes and capabilities. Activities include support for office engagements, coordinating with senior leaders and Information Officers across the enterprise on RM issues and the evolution of RM across the enterprise, providing implementation planning and execution for electronic records management (ERM) capabilities, maintaining RM training materials, training new Information Officers, assisting with office file plan creation and review, responding to previous NARA inspections and plan of corrective action, Loss Reports, and supporting related information management (IM) activities.

Skills Required: Must have significant prior experience in records management, understanding of RM issues, and a proven ability to work with senior managers and supervisors to develop champions and provide RM guidance to the organization and Information Officers (IOs). Must have proven expertise in all MS Office products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Visio. Must be familiar with and knowledgeable of various commercial ERM tools, standards and implementations.

Location: Springfield, Virginia (periodic local travel and occasional remote travel may be required).

Education: A college degree (AA/BS/BA) with 6+ years total work experience and at least 3+ years relevant experience is required.

Staff Officer (#2017-SEC01)

Job Description: Perform as a staff officer providing office coordination support to the division chief, staff, and other offices within security and facilities regarding meetings, actions, briefings, policy updates, creating and submitting staff packages, managing and ordering office supplies and other office activities as required to help ensure that the office is operating effectively and efficiently.

Skills Required: Must have prior experience as a staff officer or office administrator working within the geospatial intelligence environment. Experience and knowledge of the organization is required, and candidates must have excellent communication and customer service skills.

Location: Springfield, Virginia (periodic local travel may be required).

Education: A high school diploma with 5+ years, or college degree with 1+ years, relevant work experience is required.
